Having Faith - Logos

Steingraber uses logos throughout "Having Faith" in order to persuade us to believe her. She uses many numerical statistics to back up her claims that toxins are present in the food we eat, and that the highest concentration of these toxins is transmitted to infants through breastfeeding. She uses logic when explaining the concentration of toxins throughout the food chain, and how it increases as you move upwards. Through her usage of logos Steingraber is able to persuasively get her point across.
